TNT - Tapsnturns is a Dance Company, lead by our Director, Varun Manoharan, currently in Tokyo. We organise Dance based fun events, Dance lessons, Performance trainings, Personal dance training in Tokyo, Japan and Online. Dancer / Choreographer / Instructor, Varun has almost 12 years of experience in various dance forms like Hiphop, Jazz, Ballet, Salsa, Bachata, Mambo, Jive, and Indian Commercial dance styles like Bollywood, Kollywood and South Indian street style folk dances and has been dancing India, USA and Tokyo. He has been teaching for since 2016 and has choreographed and coached dance teams to corporate competition wins in India. He has danced extensively in the US at New York, Chicago, Minneapolis etc, various cities in India and Japan. In New York, he started learning Mambo and Cha Cha Cha directly from Eddie Torres. Later, he started training under Richard David Tholoor, World Salsa Champion and Asian Bachata Champion. Varun’s logical, easy-to-understand, and attentive instruction is well-received by repeat students, and he is known for the rapid progress of his students.

His journey has taken him across India, the USA, and Japan, shaping his dance philosophy and giving him a truly global perspective on rhythm, technique, and expression.
Known for his dynamic teaching style, attention to detail, and warm, motivational energy, Varun focuses on creating a non-judgmental and empowering learning space. His classes go beyond just steps—they’re about building confidence, body awareness, and connection through music and movement.
幅広いダンス・演技経験を持ち、映像作品や舞台、広告でも活躍。NY、LA、トロント、ウイーン、日本各地で舞台に立つ。過去、ウィーンオペラ座舞踏会に日本代表として出場。演劇、日本舞踊、ジャズ、シアターダンス、バレエ、タップなどを学び、ラテンダンスに出会う。サルサ世界チャンピオン・アジアバチャータチャンピオンのRichard & Svethaにバチャータを師事。身体表現者のための解剖学に基づいた体と呼吸のトレーニングコースを修了。その知識をダンスに活かした指導が、生徒からも好評を得ている。
